A very well made antique walnut bureau bookcase in the William and Mary style. This was made in England, it dates from around 1890-1900.

The quality is excellent, this has a lovely domed upper dection with an astral glazed door and adjustable shelves. The lower section contains a pull down writing surface with internal drawers and pigeon holes, there is an additional drawer beneath the pull down flap. It sits on beautifully turned legs, with a fantastic stretchered base.

We have had this recently re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age.
