A lovely early William IV antique writing table in mahogany. This was made in England, it dates from the 1830-1850 period.

It is very well made and of excellent quality. The turned baluster legs are very thick and sit on original porcelain casters. The handles are turned mahogany and the inset leather top is beautifully hand coloured and gold tooled.

We have just had this re-polished, it is in excellent condition for its age. There are small marks and bumps here and there beneath the polish, adding to the patina and commensurate for age.
