An absolutely stunning decorative antique painted mirror. This is likely continental, possibly made in Germany or Italy. Dating it is quite difficult, it could be 19th century or even earlier.

It is painted a beautiful blue colour tone, with images of various animals chasing each other around the frame. It is a useful size, and could be hung portrait or landscape.

The mirror looks like it has been replaced at some stage. The frame is in good condition for its age, with some minor wear here and there, adding to the charm.
