A very impressive antique Edwardian cheval mirror in mahogany. This was made in England, it dates from around 1900-1910.
It is a great size and is of superb quality. The mahogany frame has beautiful inlaid satin wood banding around the edges. There are very well made brass finials, very impressive and finely detailed brass circular handles which adjust the tension, and brass hairy paw casters. The mirror can be tilted to various angles and removed completely for ease of transport.
The actual mirror glass is original & bevelled. There is a little bit of spotting in places, which we have highlighted in the images. This only adds to the character.
We have had this recently re-polished, it is in excellent condition for its age.
