An absolutely stunning antique Victorian period gilt wood mirror. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1840-1850 period.

It is of incredibly fine quality, it is nice and slim with two built in shelves. There are lots of fine details all over, this is a combination of gilt wood and gesso. The gilt finish has a gorgeous patina, there is a makers label on the back which reads: W. Fetherstone.

This has had some restoration and has been revived by a professional gilt restorer, it is in lovely condition for its age with some normal age related wear to be seen.
