A stunning pair of antique oil paintings, these were recently acquired from a grand central London property.

I would date them to around the early to mid-19th century, possibly 1820-40’s. They are in wonderful original condition and appear to be beautifully executed. There is some age related wear to the paintings, nothing major and seen in the images. the gilt wood frames are gorgeous and have also aged beautifully, with age related wear.

We are not sure who these guys are, but they must have been important and rich enough to employ the highly skilled artist who painted these!
