Wonderful quality reconstructed antique Victorian bookcase. This is another example of the brilliant work of my cabinet makers. There are a matching pair of these bookcases, which have been made from the wood of a Victorian wardrobe, so they are one off’s. The design & dimensions can be repeated, but the wood will always differ. I am also selling these individually, so if you want the pair please let me know soon. Most of the wood is burr walnut veneer, which came from the wardrobe, with some figured walnut, also from the wardrobe on the sides. The veneers are stunning, with lovely figuring & a good original colour. The shelves are adjustable on shark teeth supports & they are stained pine with burr walnut front edges. The panelled back is stained pine which is tongue & grooved.
