A stunning antique French gilt wood bench. We would date this to around the 1960-70’s and it’s in the classical French Louis style.

It is of superb quality and is a great size. The frame is beautifully carved, and is finished with a light green paint and gilt edges. The original buttoned upholstery is a gorgeous and very high quality damask fabric.

This is finished identically on both sides do can be used as a free standing item. The condition is excellent for its age, with only some minor wear and chipping to the green finish on one side, seen in the images.
