A beautifully proportioned and very well made original Regency period chaise longue. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1810-1820’s.

The quality is amazing, with a finely sculpted beech & mahogany frame, fine quality gilt metal mounts and gilt metals hairy paw casters.

We have had this re-polished, the condition is very good for its age. There are signs of historical woodworm to the frame, long ago treated and no longer an issue.

We have had this fully re-upholstered in a cream cotton fabric.

This chaise longue is much shorter in length than most on the market.
