A stunning antique Regency period mahogany chaise longue. This was made in England, it dates from around 1810-1830.

The quality is outstanding, this has a gorgeous design and looks very impressive from all angles. The solid mahogany frame is finely constructed with some beautifully carved details, it has lovely curves and a wonderful patina. It sits on turned and fluted legs with brass casters.

We have had the frame stripped and re-polished, it has been re-upholstered in a cream cotton fabric, keeping as much of the original horse hair filling as possible. The condition is excellent.
