An excellent original Victorian period brass fireplace club fender with a leather seat. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1860-80’s.
It is of super quality and is an incredibly charming piece, with lots of patina and character.
The leather is either original or was replaced a long time ago, it has aged beautifully with a stunning colour and just the right amount of wear.
The brass also has a wonderful patina, with one or two minor historical repairs and various small bumps and indentations. Overall it is sturdy and structurally sound.
