An excellent original Victorian period captains desk chair in solid elm. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1860-1880’s.

It is beautifully made and is of really high quality. The design is very sturdy and shapely, it has a very ergonomic and comfortable seat area. This is one of the best examples of this type of chair that we have seen.

The elm wood grain is stunning and the colour is beautiful. We have recently had this re-polished, it is in excellent condition for its age.
