Antique French carved walnut framed salon armchair in good original condition. It’s structurally sound & the upholstery is still okay, although I think the seat springs need a bit of attention. We do normally recover upholstered furniture, but this one seems okay & I think the fabric compliments the chair. It’s hard to date exactly, but this chair is probably from the 1850-60’s period, although it may be older. The carvings & other features in the wood are very fine quality.
