A superb antique extending dining table and matching set of eight chairs in walnut. This is in the Queen Anne style, it dates from around the 1920-1930’s.
The quality is absolutely superb, this is exquisitely designed and executed. The dining table has two extra leaves that can extend the dining area considerably, there is room to store them beneath the table when not in use. There is beautiful, crisp carving all around the table base and edges, and also on the legs of the chairs. The table top and chair legs have stunning burr walnut veneer patterns and a gorgeous colour. The chairs have an unusual concave shaped seat front, they look great from all angles and look amazing around the table.
We have had the table and chairs re-polished, the condition is lovely for their age, with only some extremely minor wear beneath the polish here and there. The drop in seat pads have been re-upholstered in our cream cotton fabric.
