A wonderful set of antique early Victorian solid rosewood dining chairs, dating from around the 1840-1860 period.
They are of superb quality and have a gorgeous shape, with curvaceous backs & cabriole legs. The solid rosewood frames are beautifully carved and have stunning grain patterns.
The condition is very good for their age, the frames have been given a wax polish, they are clean sturdy and sound with only some minor wear to be seen. We have had the seats re-upholstered in our cream cotton fabric.
We also have a pair of similar solid rosewood dining chairs that sit well with these to make a set of six, seen listed under our other items for sale.
