A wonderful set of antique solid mahogany English Chippendale style dining chairs, dating from around the 1880-1890’s period.
They are of excellent quality, with fine carving and lovely proportions. The knees have acanthus leaf carving, and the cabriole legs terminate in claw and ball feet.
We have had these gently cleaned & polished, and the drop in seats have been re-upholstered in our cream cotton fabric. The condition is fantastic for their age.
These chairs are full of character & originality. However, if you like your antique furniture looking new, these are not for you, unless you want them completely stripped & re-polished.
