A large and impressive pair of antique Swedish armchairs in satin birch. They were recently imported from Sweden, they date from around the 1900-1920 period.

The quality is outstanding, they are generous, well sprung and very comfortable. The satin birch frames have a gorgeous colour tone and lovely grain patterns. They sit on sabre legs, with scrolled armrests and a serpentine shaped upper back rest.

We have had the frames re-polished and they have been re-upholstered in a cream cotton fabric. The condition is excellent for their age.
