A wonderful pair of antique carved oak side chairs with the original embossed leather upholstery. They are continental, possibly French, they date from around the 1850-1870 period.

They are of magnificent quality, with beautifully crisp carving throughout. The seat and backs are upholstered in embossed leather with amazing details.

The condition is excellent for their age, we have just had them re-polished. There is just some minor surface wear beneath the polish here and there .
