A superb pair of antique William IV period hall chairs in solid mahogany. They were made in England, and date from the 1830-1850’s.

The quality is superb, they have exquisite carving throughout, with fan shaped backs and finely turned legs.

The colour tone and patina are gorgeous, they are a useful and compact size. Perfect for use as hall chairs as intended, or as occasional side chairs around the home.

We have had these recently polished, they are in excellent condition for their age, while retaining plenty of character and charm.
