A stunning set of antique Edwardian dining chairs in mahogany. These were made in England, they date from around the 1900-1910 period.
The quality is superb, they are solid mahogany with satin wood inlay and beautifully hand painted floral motifs on the upper back rests. The slatted backs have lovely carving, they sit on tapered legs terminating in spade feet and have stretchered bases for extra stability. There are two carvers and six straight side chairs, all are sturdy and comfortable.
We have recently had the frames re-polished and the seats have been re-upholstered in our cream cotton fabric. The condition is excellent for their age.
