A stunning antique French marble top commode chest, beautifully made from King Wood & dating from around the 1900-1920’s period.

It has a beautiful shape and is a useful and impressive size. The back is curved and nicely finished, so this can be used as a free standing item; the front has a serpentine shaped design. There are high quality gilt bronze mounts, handles & escutcheons, plus gorgeous inlaid geometric king wood veneers throughout. The original marble top is beautifully coloured and is made from a mosaic of smaller marble pieces.

We have recently had this re-polished, the condition is excellent throughout.
