A beautiful and extremely well made antique desk in burr walnut, with an inset leather top. This dates from around the 1890-1900 period.

It is of extremely high quality, with a solid oak construction throughout, and stunning burr walnut veneers. There are lovely original brass handles and this sits on bracket feet. The back is solid oak panelled, the drawers have cross banded edges, locks & are very deep. They are solid oak lined and have extremely fine dovetailed joints.

We had the top re-leathered, hand coloured, gold tooled & antiqued. This desk has also been recently polished & is in excellent condition for its age. The writing surface has a generous working area & this desk has a lovely original look & is full of character.
