This antique walnut desk has wonderful burr walnut veneers all over the front, back & sides. It’s in excellent condition, having just been French polished & I would date it to around the 1930-50’s period. The top has just been re-leathered, hand coloured & gold tooled. One particularly useful feature of the desk is that while being quite small in size, it still has a generously sized kneehole space. It has a double serpentine shaped front & bracket feet. All the drawers are graduated in depth & they have finely cast original brass handles.
