This antique burr walnut desk has a great shape & a wonderful mellow colour. The burr walnut has intricate patterns all over the front, sides & back. The tooled leather writing surface is original & still in good condition. The desk front is serpentine shaped & it sits on bracket feet. The drawers are all graduated in depth & have intricate original brass handles. This desk is top quality & is in good condition. What's particularly nice about this desk is the fact that though it's not that large, there is still plenty of leg room & knee height, because the drawers aren't too wide. I would date this desk to around the 1930's period.
