A beautiful and extremely well made antique burr walnut leather top writing desk. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1890-1910 period.

The quality is superb, this is a lovely size and has a gorgeous design. The top has an inverted breakfront shape, with three inset tooled leather surfaces on the top. There are stunning burr walnut patterns throughout, the back is nicely finished so this can be used as a free standing item. The drawer fronts have high quality brass handles and fine, hand cut dovetailed joints.

We have had this re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age.
