Stunning quality & well shaped walnut server side table in excellent original condition & dating from around the 1920-30’s period. It’s Carolean style & has just been polished.

There is a gallery on the back with a small shell carving in the middle & this shell carving is repeated below on the centre drawer. The top is burr walnut with a cross banded edge & carved below. The burr walnut centre drawer is bow fronted & cross banded too. All the drawers have fine dovetails & original brass handles. The two outside drawers have loose baize lined cutlery compartments, which can be lifted out. There is a beautifully shaped burr walnut frieze below the drawers which goes around the sides too. The solid walnut turned legs have carved features halfway down, shaped stretchers between the legs & carved feet.

Everything about this table speaks quality.
