Antique walnut table with many nice features, dating from around the 1920's period & in good original condition. It has a well patterned burr walnut top, sides, back & drawer. The shaped out top edge gives the appearance of a tray top & there are also pull out slides either end. The drawer has the original brass handles & escutcheon, plus a middle lock. These tables are known in the trade as silver tables, but I'm not entirely sure why. This model has been around for around 300 years old & seems to be well copied. This one is a very nice example. Maybe it was originally made to use to place the silver tea set on. Any suggestions welcome.
