This Large impressive hall stand has to be the nicest ones I've ever seen. It's antique early Victorian, possible William IV, dating from the 1840-50's period & is in excellent condition. This piece is also very functional & would be very practicable in a hall. There are plenty of pegs for hanging coats, hats, etc., plus a glove or key compartment & umbrella or stick holders. There is abundant carving all over on the top & the branches. The base section has barley twist ends & strong cabriole carved legs. Please enlarge all the images to appreciate all the fine details.
