This antique French marble top bombe commode is of the highest quality, in good original condition & dates from around the 1880-90’s period. It has the original rouge marble which looks like its had some professional repair & it’s all in one piece. The wood is mainly Kingwood & Rosewood, with wonderful floral marquetry all over. This marquetry is on all three drawers & the floral marquetry panels on the sides is stunning. The handles, escutcheons & mounts are also wonderful quality & are gilt bronze ormolu.
