A fantastic antique Georgian inlaid mahogany table top mirror. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1800-1810 period.
The quality is superb, this is a large and impressive size. The mirror has a shield shaped frame, it is held by scrolled supports and stands on a serpentine shaped base with three drawers. The mahogany has lovely inlaid satin wood borders, there are high quality brass handles and brass fixtures holding the mirror in place. The mirror can be tilted and also removed for ease of transport.
We have had this recently re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age. There is just some minor historical wear and patina remaining beneath the polish here and there.
