Antique George III solid mahogany Pembroke table in excellent original condition & dating to around the 1790 period.
This is a very elegant table, free from splits & warps. The drop leaves have well shaped butterfly ends & the tapered legs have brass capped casters. There is a single drawer on one end, that’s oak lined with fine dovetails. The lock is original & there’s a brass swan neck handle. There is some evidence of old worm holes on one of the oak supports for the flaps underneath, but that is long gone & as been treated too.
This table has been French polished & has a lovely rich colour.
