A charming and very well made antique Georgian mahogany writing table / desk. This was made in England, we would date it to around the 1800-1820 period.

It is of superb quality, this is a very useful and practical size. It sits on beautifully turned legs, the drawers have intricate details on the brass ring pull handles and fine, hand cut dovetailed joints. The top has a gorgeous inset leather top with tooled edges, the back of this is also nicely finished, so can be used as a free standing item.

We have had this recently re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age. There is just some minor age related wear and patina remaining beneath the polish here and there.
