A fantastic antique open bookcase, beautifully made in mahogany, with satinwood inlays. This was made in England & is Edwardian, dating from around the 1890-1910 period.

It is extremely well made and of very high quality, it has six adjustable shelves and an additional drawer at the top. The top is surrounded by a pierced brass gallery, and there is satin wood inlay around the lower top section.

We have had this recently re-polished, it is in excellent condition for its age. Some minor old marks remain here and there and this has a lovely patina.

This is a very useful item of furniture & will hold a lot of books.
