A superb antique inlaid walnut breakfront bookcase. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1900-1910 period.
It is of outstanding quality and is a great size. It is large and has plenty of storage space, it is also quite slim and not too imposing. The walnut has a gorgeous colour tone and patina, this sits on beautifully shaped bracket feet. The lower doors have double herringbone inlaid borders, the drawers have cross banded edges and lovely brass handles. The top section has nicely astral glazed doors, and the interior is finished in a gorgeous green paint.
We have had this recently re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age. There is just some extremely minor wear here and there remaining beneath the polish. The top lifts off and this comes apart in two pieces for ease of transport.
