Antique leather upholstered mahogany armchair with generous proportions & lots of character to the leather. I would date it to around the 1930-50's period & it's in excellent original condition. The mahogany frame has been French Polished, while the leather which is all original, has been revived & polished too. There is no damage to the leather & the frame is structurally sound too. I suppose this armchair is Regency in design. I've had this model many times in the past, but this one is wider on the seat & chunkier on the frame. The leather is also all hand tacked. When I obtained this chair, the leather was very faded, especially on the back.
