Antique mahogany bookcase on cupboard in good condition & of excellent quality. It has a nice elegant design, with curved top corners & sabre legs. The top section has astral glazed doors, with adjustable shelves inside & a polished back. The bottom two cupboards are flame mahogany & there is one middle shelf inside. The are one or two minor markings on the wood, but it looks fine & in character. There are also applied mouldings down the front sides & other decoration along the base. I would date it to around the 1920’s period. One thing useful about this cabinet is the fact that it could be used as a display cabinet too, because the top section is very smart inside.
