A beautiful antique kidney shaped desk in mahogany, with an inset leather top, dating from around the 1920’s period.

It is of very high quality, with all solid wood construction and gorgeous flame mahogany veneers. the drawers are solid oak lined with fine dovetailed joints, brass handles & locks. This is nicely finished on all sides, there is also a useful inner shelf inside the knee hole. The top edge is reeded & there are bold shell carvings on the tops of the front legs.

The leather top has been replaced, hand coloured and gold tooled. We have also had this French polished, it is in great condition throughout for its age.
