This antique Regency circular dining table is extremely high quality & has some wonderful designs on the table top, plus on the base. It’s in excellent original condition & dates from the 1820-30’s period. The table top is flat, free from splits & will seat six comfortably. It would also make a splendid centre table in the right place. The mahogany veneers are segmented in a way that produces many amazing patterns, that kind of change in the centre. Please enlarge all the images to see this clearly. Do the same with the base pedestal, which sits on a platform base & carved out feet. There is also beading work all around the bottom edge of the table top & more around the base platform. This has to be one of the nicest examples of this sort of table I have seen. The top can be flipped up so the table can be placed in a corner of the room when not in use. It can also be dismantled. There is a London makers name stamped on the base section R Wright of Bond Street.
