A beautiful and very early antique Swedish empire inlaid satin wood marble top cabinet. It was made in Sweden and likely dates from around the 1780-1800 period.

It is beautifully made and is a very useful size, quite low and compact. The wood has acquired a gorgeous patina over the years, the white marble top contrasts beautifully. This sits on tapered legs, has ebonised columns and a wonderful original lock, key and escutcheon.

We have had it re-polished, it has a few minor historical repairs here and there, with plenty of character and charm.
