A stunning antique Swedish drop leaf sofa table in satin birch, dating from around the 1880-1900 period.

The quality is outstanding, this is beautifully designed and is a fantastic size. The back and front are finished identically, so this can be used as a free standing item. The top has two drop down leaves that can be lifted up to extend the surface, and it sits on a beautifully carved base, which in turn sits on ebonised carved paw feet. The colour and satin wood grain patterns are absolutely gorgeous.

We have recently had this re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age.
