Fine quality antique William IV mahogany bookcase dating from the 1830-40's period in excellent original condition. The top section has two glazed doors with shaped top mouldings on the glass & there are adjustable bookshelves inside. The bottom section has a shaped drawer above two doors with arched flame mahogany panels. Inside the cupboard section is a useful arrangements of shelves. This bookcase has a prominent cornice with a flame mahogany section below. There are well carved panels either side of the drawer & it sits on a plinth base.
