A smart and very well made antique Victorian mahogany chest of drawers. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1860-1880 period.

This is of superb quality, it is a very useful size, offering plenty of storage space. The deep drawers have beautifully turned mahogany handles and fine, hand cut dovetailed joints. The lowest drawer is built into the plinth base, so is extra deep. The mahogany has a beautiful rich colour tone and patina.

We have had this recently re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age. There is just some minor surface wear and normal light marking under the polish here and there, commensurate for age.
