A superb antique Victorian mahogany leather top desk / writing table. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1840-1860 period.

This is of outstanding quality, it is a great size and sits on finely turned solid mahogany legs terminating in porcelain casters. The two drawers also have beautifully turned mahogany handles and fine, hand cut dovetailed joints. The inset leather top has a gorgeous light colour tone and is tooled round the edges. This has a nicely finished back so can be used as a free standing item.

We have had this re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age. There is just some normal age related wear and patina here and there beneath the polish.
