Long antique Victorian open bookcase in mahogany with two sections & each with independent adjustable shelves.

This bookcase is very fine quality & a practicable piece of furniture. It’s a classic looking Victorian item of furniture & dates from around the 1860-80’s period. It’s in very good original condition. It doesn’t protrude out a lot & will hold plenty of books. There is a central divider & carved corbels on the tops of all three uprights, with carved rosettes above. The fronts of the sides & the middle divider are also grooved.

The inside of the back is finished off & it sits on a plinth base. This is a very smart looking bookcase.
