An excellent antique Victorian pedestal desk in mahogany. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1860-1880 period.

The quality is superb and this is a very useful size. It sits on plinth bases with casters, has wonderful brass handles and a gorgeous hand coloured leather top with gold tooled edges.

This breaks down into three pieces for ease of transport, the back is also nicely finished so this can be used as a free standing item.

We have recently had this re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age. There are various small marks and bumps here and there beneath the polish, commensurate for age and adding plenty of character.
