A smart and very useful original antique Victorian desk / writing table in mahogany. This was made in England, it dates from around 1860-1880.

The quality is fantastic, this sits on beautifully turned legs with original brass casters, and also has lovely turned solid mahogany handles. The inset leather top is hand coloured and gold tooled, the back of the desk is also nicely finished so this can be used as a free standing item.

We have had this recently re-polished, it is in very good condition for its age with no structural damage, only some surface wear here and there.

The top edges, especially the front one, has a lot of natural distressing, adding to the overall charm & character. So – If you like your antiques looking new, then this isn’t for you.
