An excellent antique Victorian leather top writing desk in mahogany. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1850-1870 period.

The quality is amazing, this sits on beautifully turned and fluted legs, terminating in porcelain casters. The drawers have lovely turned mahogany handles, the inset leather top is hand coloured and tooled around the edges.
The back is also nicely finished, so this can be used as a free standing item.

We have had this recently re-polished, the conditon is excellent for its age. There are just some minor old marks here and there remaining beneath the polish, commensurate for age.
