A smart and very well made antique Victorian mahogany writing table / desk. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1860-1880 period.

This is of wonderful quality and is a very useful size. It stands on beautifully turned legs terminating in porcelain casters, there are two drawers with nicely turned handles and fine, hand cut dovetailed joints. There is an inset leather top with gold tooled edges, the leather has a beautiful colour which compliments the mahogany nicely.

We have had this recently re-polished, it is in excellent condition for its age, with a gorgeous all round patina.
