A lovely antique Victorian mahogany writing table / desk. This was made in England, it dates from the 1860-1880 period.

This is of nice quality and is a very useful size, not too deep from front to back. It stands on beautifully turned legs and porcelain casters. The drawers have turned solid mahogany handles and fine, hand cut dovetailed joints. There is a gorgeous inset leather writing surface with tooled edges.

We have had this re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age, with some normal age related wear and patina beneath the polish here and there.
