A fantastic antique Victorian open bookcase in solid walnut. This was made in England, it dates from the 1870-1890 period.

It is of the utmost quality, it’s very well built and heavy. The design is very useful, with lots of storage space for books on the adjustable shelves. It’s not too deep so isn’t too imposing, but being open means there’s minimal restriction of the size books you can store.

We have recently had this re-polished, it is in excellent condition for its age. There are just some signs of wear and patina beneath the polish here and there.
